Pared (Wall) is the first of an ongoing series of documents and observations on insect culture.

A natural progression from Surface (2010-2013), the 24 hour live video
work of the undersea life of False Creek (where Bowie was primarily concerned with bringing up to the surface
that which is usually hidden from view/conciousness), Pared is the first in her insect series which brings forth
minute details of the survival strategies, habits and cooperative endeavors of various types of fauna.

The series has been captured on video and photograpy and will ultimately be contributed to a wiki where individuals
may contribute to the identification of species and add musings on the observed life of these creatures.
